Plexus Recognized at 2026 Manufacturing Leadership Awards

We are excited to highlight our continued partnership with @Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity to construct our fourth home through the Plexus Community Foundation. Our team recently marked a significant milestone as we gathered to raise the first wall at the construction site.

These prestigious awards celebrate organizations that shape the future of manufacturing. For Plexus, being named a finalist recognizes how we turn innovation into results that drive extraordinary outcomes for our team members, customers and the world.

We are incredibly proud to be recognized across two competitive project categories that define modern advancements:

AI Vision and Strategy: honoring our project, “Innovating Responsibly: Driving Enterprise Value Through Strategic AI Adoption.” We have democratized cutting-edge technology by deploying enterprise-wide self-service AI tools to over 20,000 global team members. From implementing machine learning-driven self-healing supply chain parameters that reduced component lead times to leveraging “Gemini code assist” to boost software developer velocity, we are embedding AI into the fabric of our culture.

Sustainability and the Circular Economy: recognizing our project, “Zero Waste to Landfill: Powering a Circular Economy for Local Industry.” Led by our manufacturing team in Neenah, Wisconsin, we’ve built an environmental framework that achieves zero waste to landfill.

Through a circular strategy, we feed paper directly back to local mills, process hard-to-recycle plastics into high-density fuel pellets and route remaining residuals to power a local cheese factory. This project achieved a massive reduction in waste-related Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and inspired other global Plexus sites to work toward achieving zero waste to landfill status.

Beyond the individual project categories, Plexus caught the attention of the judging panel, placing us under consideration for these additional distinctions:

• The Manufacturer of the Year Award: chosen from the high-scoring project award winners across all categories and recognizes the companies that have demonstrated outstanding, holistic success in driving digital transformation, innovation and operational excellence.
• The Future of Manufacturing Award: a unique accolade reserved exclusively for projects identified by the judges as exceptionally innovative, disruptive and futuristic.
