Plexus Welcomes NASCAR Driver Daniel Suarez

DATE: 29 9月, 2015

Plexus had the unique opportunity to host the ARRIS sponsored NASCAR Xfinity Series #18 driver, Daniel Suarez on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at our manufacturing facility in Chicago, Ill.

Daniel Suarez, NASCAR Xfinity Series driver, stated, “It was great to visit the Plexus facility and learn about all of the cool things they build, their partnership with ARRIS and how the E6000 product is made. Everyone was great and I met a lot of very nice and interesting people.”

Plexus and ARRIS have been partnering on broadband technology products - including the C4 cable modem termination system, the C4c and their latest product the E6000 converged edge router - for more than 10 years. Our partnership together has strengthened over the last decade and ARRIS has become one of Plexus’ largest customers.

As the primary sponsor for the Joe Gibbs Racing team, ARRIS presented the opportunity for one of their drivers, Daniel Suarez, to visit the Plexus facility where ARRIS’s products are manufactured. Daniel spent the afternoon meeting the site team and learning about how the ARRIS products are manufactured. He also took time to speak to several hundred production workers and perform a more personal meet and greet with Plexus employees.

Brad Majeski, Vice President – Market Sector – Networking/Communications and Industrial/Commercial sectors at Plexus, commented, “This event is testament to the great working relationship between Plexus and our valued customer, ARRIS. We greatly appreciate ARRIS recommending one of their sponsored NASCAR drivers to come to our facility and engage with our employees.  Plexus is thankful for this unique opportunity to showcase our capabilities to someone outside of the industry while giving back to our dedicated employees with a fun, engaging event.”
