Investing in the communities and causes closest to our hearts

As a services organization, we seek to serve and positively impact society beyond our internal Plexus community. We are dedicated to contributing to community organizations and institutions that enhance innovation, promote technology-related educational programs and preserve the quality of life in the communities in which our team members reside.

Our community engagement and charitable giving through the Plexus Community Foundation is especially important as we look to our partnerships with educational institutions. Whether through formal campus recruiting, career fairs or high school robotics programs, we are committed to investing in the workforce of our future as we seek to attract and retain top talent to our organization.

Supporting FIRST Robotics

For over 22 years, Plexus has supported the FIRST Robotics program across the United States. Our contributions go beyond financial donations as we partner with teams and compete in events local to our US Design Centers. Plexus teammates thrive on the ability to mentor students in the program, guiding them on what it takes to design, build and program a robot.

Keeping our shorelines clean

Hundreds of Plexus teammates in Penang, Malaysia cleaned a 5km stretch of beachfront near our local facilities. In total, the team collected 1213kg of wastes and, at the close of the walk, teammates helped to separate the waste into recyclable and non-recyclable materials.

Our sustaining partnership with Michigan Tech

Plexus contributed $150,000 to build a new workspace lab at Michigan Technological University – the “Plexus Innovation Lab.” Our partnership with Michigan Tech will offer students more hands-on learning experiences to better prepare for a successful career in engineering.
